GSC Filters

Suitable for filtering coarse dust and wood chips. Modular and versatile, the GSC filter is equipped with a motorized vibrator.

The GSC series filters are specifically designed to meet the filtration needs of dust and chips produced by wood processing in small and medium-sized industries. They feature timed cleaning via a motovibrator, requiring the centralized system to be stopped during maintenance.

The structure of the filters is made of thick galvanized zinc sheet that is folded and  welded at the joints. These filters have been developed to operate under pressure.

The dusty air enters through the tight end of the funnel low and because of the immediate increase in the size of the section the larger particles fall into the waste bin or waste sack because of the lack of speed.

The GSC filter series is available in standard versions ranging from 17 m² up to 85 m².

The lighter particles extracted attach themselves to the outher part of the sleeve whilst the air continues to pass internally and separates from the dust. The snap-ring filter bags are supported by a  disc with hook on the upper part and a support post at the edge.

Everything is solidly fixed to a rack using bolts and supporting chains.

Above the sleeves (rack) is a motorised vibrator for timed cleaning. The number of vibrators and the cleaning time with the system shut down depend on the number and size of the sleeves.

The GSC series filters are usually installed outside the facility. The filters are then connected to the capture areas (work areas) by rigid galvanized  zinc pipes.

The work areas can be:

• Work benches
• Hoods fixed at the extraction point.
• Localised extraction points in general.

The appropiate size electro-ventilator will be connected via the rigid galvanized zinc ducting to the central extraction plant and then to the filter.

The filtered air is then released according to the norms currently in force.

These GSC series filters can be equipped with numerous accessories and particulars, among which:

• Sleeve bands or snap rings;
• Motors vibrators;
• Bolts for assembly;
• Filter sleeves in pure cotton and/or needlefelt polyester.
• Electrical switchboard.
